National Open University Requirements

However, before we proceed, it is pertinent to note that there is little variation between NOUN admission requirements for undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Not only that, departmental requirements may also vary slightly. Nevertheless, we are going to list the general requirements for both undergraduate and postgraduate, irrespective of department. They are:
- You must have a minimum of 5 credits, including English and mathematics, in your O’level result
- You must be at least 18 years old
- If you are going for masters, you must have at least second-class lower from your previous studies (degree) or its equivalent
- If you are enrolling for a Ph.D., you are required to have a master degree from any recognised institution with a minimum score of 60% of its total grade.

Currently, NOUN doesn’t have fixed fees attached to their course because the fees vary from time to time in line with the NOUN policies. As a sequel to that, we may not be able to give you NOUN courses and their corresponding fees. Nevertheless, we are going to list all the basic fees for both new and returning students at NOUN.
